The National WWII Museum in New Orleans is recognized by Congress as “America’s National WWII Museum” and has official ties with the Smithsonian. In 2012, the museum began a $300 million  expansion campaign “The Road to Victory: A Vision for Future Generations”.

L’Auberge Casino & Hotel – Baton Rouge, Louisiana

L’Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge is a luxurious establishment overlooking the Mississippi River. 74,000 square feet and 12 stories high, the hotel features a rooftop pool, spa, free rounds of golf, a world-class casino, and concerts.

Woman’s Hospital – Baton Rouge, Louisiana

The new $327 million Woman’s Hospital was constructed to be aesthetically pleasing, technologically advanced campus focused on an exceptional patient experience. The campus is approximately 216 acres with a five-story hospital building, two medical office buildings which include an ambulatory surgery center and cancer treatment center, a two-story support services building and a two-story central energy plant.

NEA Baptist Health System – Jonesboro, Arkansas

Architect: Earl Swesson Associates, Inc., Nashville, TN

Construction: Hoar Construction LLC, Birmingham, AL

The new $400 million NEA Baptist Healthsystem was constructed to increase patient and operating rooms and include physician offices on same floor as inpatient rooms to increase efficiency and responsiveness to patient needs. The facility includes a six-story, 550,00 square foot hospital, 213,000 square foot medical office building and a 34,000 square foot cancer care center.

Slidell Memorial Hospital – Slidell, Louisiana

Celebrating more than 50 years of exceptional medical service, the Slidell Memorial Hospital is “driven…to improve the quality of life in [the Slidell] community” (SMH Website). Located in the heart of Slidell, Louisiana in St. Tammany Parish, the hospital offers emergency medical care, a cardiac care unit, a regional cancer center, orthopedic specialists, and an outpatient rehabilitation center.

LSUHSC Human Development Center – New Orleans, Louisiana

The LSU Health Sciences Center Human Development Center  (LSUHSC HDC) located in New Orleans, LA was established in 1974. Now a University Center of Excellence in Developmental Disabilities, Education, Research and Service (UCEDD), the HDC is a member of the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD).
